I'm incredibly proud to announce that there is now a singleplayer version of mpyoo working and in development, featuring full web UI support for singleplayer. It is not available yet, but will be released in the future.

โœจ Introducing mpyooSPโ€‹

When I set out to make mpyoo, I wanted to build a tool that made the scene creation process as easy as possible. If it isn't possible to do everything you want to do - it defeats the point of it being made in the first place.

During testing, a few testers let me know that games with large mod setups (e.g. large map mods, new locations) currently have performance issues on RageMP, which is the multiplayer mod mpyoo works on currently. On top of this, RageMP does not allow you to use any other singleplayer scripts (.asi, .dll) which you might be relying on for singleplayer modding.

At the start of making mpyoo, I was told it was difficult to get web UI working in singleplayer, and that only one other person had made a basic demo where they made an overlay of google.com. This is part of the reason I chose a multiplayer platform, because they all come with web UI support built-in. However, if they have all already done it, I knew that not only it is possible, but with enough persistence, it could be brought to singleplayer, too.

After many attempts, I've finally found a way to bring the same web UIs from multiplayer mods into singleplayer:

With this discovery, it now means that I can begin work on a mpyoo singleplayer port.

๐Ÿ“… When will mpyooSP be released?โ€‹

mpyooSP will not be ready immediately. Singleplayer mods use different scripts to RageMP, so I'll need to code mpyoo's features to work on singleplayer.

However, all of the UI is already made, so I do not need to remake it from scratch. On top of this, you can use mpyoo with Menyoo in singleplayer at the same time:

With mpyoo working with Menyoo simultaneously, it means I don't need to delay releasing mpyooSP until all features are ready. Instead, I can port over mpyoo's new upgrades and high priority features first, and you can rely on Menyoo's features for the meantime.

This means I can get mpyooSP to you much sooner, with a limited set of features first, and then gradually port the rest over time. Eventually, just like mpyoo's RageMP version, mpyooSP will support most of Menyoo's original features, and you may not even need Menyoo in the future.

An announcement will be made in the future once things are nearly ready to release.

๐Ÿ†š What's the difference between mpyooSP and mpyoo on RageMP?โ€‹

mpyooSP will allow you to use mpyoo on singleplayer and use all your traditional modding setups that you're used to. However, it does not offer the unique RageMP platform features, like RageMP's modloader, and some of the upcoming advanced features that I will announce separately later on. UI features like 3D move will work, however.

If you've got a fairly standard/common modding setup for singleplayer, mainly focused on clothes, props, hair mods, body mods, tattoos, graphics mods, like most photos made in our #gallery channel, it's highly recommended to switch to mpyoo's RageMP version in the long run.

If you're doing something that needs complicated mods like map mods that add entire cities (e.g. Paris, Tokyo, etc), or need to add custom singleplayer scripts, mpyooSP will be a better fit for you.

โ” What's happening with mpyoo on RageMP?โ€‹

mpyoo's RageMP version is still in alpha, however, the vast majority of Menyoo's original features are remade in it and work fine. There are a few quirks with some of the new upgrades, but nothing majorly game breaking that would prevent you from doing scene creation.

I will work on polishing what remains in the RageMP version, and mpyoo RageMP will move from alpha to beta testing in a few weeks. mpyoo's RageMP version is mostly stable and I highly recommend checking it out when you can to get an idea of how it makes scene creation and modding a lot easier.

Development of mpyoo RageMP will continue, and both versions will be available in the future. For now, you can check out mpyoo RageMP by joining the test in our Discord server.

More announcements to follow - I'll let you know when we've got a working singleplayer release ASAP.
